Heather Combs, CCO, 3Pillar Global

Heather Combs is Chief Commercial Officer for 3Pillar Global, a digital product development services organization building breakthrough software products that power digital businesses. She oversees marketing, business development and operations for the over 900-person multinational company, creating the revenue acceleration strategies that drive 3Pillar’s continued double digit growth.

Before joining 3Pillar, Heather was the Chief Business Development Officer at the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), where she was responsible for overall revenue strategy and led the product management, strategic partnerships, and sales organizations. Prior to HRCI, Heather was the Chief Business Development Officer at Aronson and Chief Sales Officer at Hanover Research. She also spent 13 years at the Corporate Executive Board, where she led product management, sales and strategic partnerships initiatives.

Heather was named Member of the Year by the Institute for Excellence in Sales (IES) in 2019 and is on the IES Executive Leadership Advisory Board. She has been named among the Top 25 Women Leaders in Tech Services and Consulting of 2019 by The Software Report, and has been published in Fox Business News.

She also frequently speaks on stages, online, and on podcasts such as “Sales Game Changers” about growth acceleration, strategy, sales, and women in tech.

A native of Texas and raising five daughters, Heather holds a Masters of Public Service and Administration and a BS in Political Science and Psychology, both from Texas A&M University.

Erika Flora, CEO, Beyond20

Erika Flora is President/CEO of Beyond20 and Lead Editor/author of the global publication "ITIL 4 Leader: Digital & IT Strategy". She started her career as a Microbiologist turned Program Manager and discovered a passion for improving how organizations work. In 2006, she founded Beyond20, a Digital Transformation consulting and training firm based on ITIL, DevOps, and Agile frameworks. Erika is an avid blogger, speaker, and advocate of expanding opportunities for women and minorities in technology. Erika calls Washington, DC home. When not at work, you may find her cycling, reading, sailing, or performing improv comedy.

Deepti Malhotra, CEO, VMD Corp

Deepti Malhotra is President and CEO of VMD Corp, an $80M government contracting business. After co-founding the firm in 2002 and providing day-to-day management of all facets of the business, she today sets the strategic oversight and direction for the company, manages critical client and partner relationships, and shapes and maintains the firm’s culture and values.

Under Malhotra’s leadership, VMD has grown from an SBA-designated small business to a mid-sized one. Its client portfolio now includes some of the most important federal agencies protecting American borders, commerce, health care and interests such as the United States Departments of State, Homeland Security, Defense, Treasury and Health and Human Services.

Malhotra has spearheaded the firm’s efforts to attain desirable contract vehicles (GSA IT Schedule 70, Navy Seaport-e, CIOSP-3 among others) and accreditations of its work (CMMI SVC & DEV – Level III, ISO 9001, 20000, 27001).

During her tenure, the firm has established a solid track record of growth and performance – with revenues, margins and employee counts growing consistently year over year. Malhotra has also implemented a strategic plan for continued growth and evolution, targeting revenues of $110M by 2022.

At Malhotra’s direction, the company’s core services portfolio has evolved as well, to now include IT and business support services to across cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, Agile engineering, and management consulting across a breadth of Federal agencies.

Prior to founding VMD, Malhotra was a Senior Manager at The Lewin Group consulting firm where she helped to establish the firm’s Healthcare IT division. Outside of VMD, Malhotra is a member of the Dean’s Council at the George Mason University School of Business, a member of the Women’s Business Collaborative, a board member of the Inova Health Foundation, and a board member of the non-profit organization Women Giving Back.

Malhotra resides in Northern Virginia with her two school-age sons.
