Anna Solomon's acclaimed novel The Book of V. intertwines the stories of three very different women from three different times and places--contemporary Brooklyn, 1970s Washington, D.C., and ancient Persia--to explore ever-relevant questions of power, freedom, and desire. Join her for a talk and Q&A. All registrants will have the opportunity to order a signed copy of the book at a reduced rate.

Anna Solomon is the author of two previous novels, “Leaving Lucy Pear” and “The Little Bride,” and a two-time winner of the Pushcart Prize. Her short fiction and essays have appeared in publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Boston Globe, One Story, Ploughshares, and Slate. She is also co-editor of Labor Day: True Birth Stories by Today's Best Women Writers, and previously worked as a radio journalist. Born and raised in Gloucester, MA, she now makes her home in Brooklyn, NY, with her husband and two children.
