Join us for a webinar featuring Mary Brady, Executive Director, The Economic Club of Washington, D.C.  Mary will speak on the importance of establishing credibility as a female business leader.  She will share examples from her own professional experiences including relationship building, mentoring, and promoting other women.  The interview will be facilitated by Carolyn Thompson, Principal, Merito Group and WWLI Founder.

About the Speaker:

Mary Brady oversees The Economic Club of Washington, D.C., the premier forum for leaders, with a membership roster of senior executives representing over 800 businesses with offices in the Washington Metropolitan region and beyond. Since its founding in 1986 as a non-profit organization, the Economic Club has served as a global interface for the world’s government and international business luminaries who share insights about the critical issues of the day.

Mary Brady is responsible for focusing the Economic Club on the most pressing and significant issues around the world in business and finance, economic issues, national security, and the technology revolution. The impact of speaking at the Economic Club is amplified by the global media coverage that results from an appearance. The Economic Club is singularly unique in that it has been successful in building a diverse membership represented by top level executives of major corporations, heads of the largest business and trade organizations in the U.S., managing partners of professional services firms, former members of congress, and presidents of universities, to ensure a peer-to-peer networking environment.

Since 2008, Mary Brady has also been responsible for directing the Economic Club's scholarship and internship program with annual giving that has grown to more than $1 million each year to directly benefit roughly 50 students graduating from DC Public High Schools.

Mary Brady is a 2014 winner of the Washington Business Journal Women Who Mean Business Award, and a member of the Boards of the Girl Scouts of the Nation's Capital and The Women's Foreign Policy Group.
