C-Suite Women’s Group Offers Networking and Leadership Training


The Washington Women’s Leadership Initiative, (https://wwli.org/), a powerhouse organization that offers its C-Suite members opportunities to network and share executive value-driven experiences, has announced its new roster of Board Officers for 2020.

The new officers are:

Chair - Sandy Lee, Sr. Director, Privacy programs, The Chief Privacy Office, Neustar, Inc.

Vice Chair – Jennifer Wappaus, Director, Family Wealth Advisor, PagnatoKarp

Treasurer – Carolyn Quill, Principal, Thompson Greenspon

Based in Vienna, VA, WWLI is a 501(c)3 is cross-industry, multi-discipline, non-partisan, and non-competitive professional group.

Its members include Virginia, Maryland and DC (VMD)-area women who are partners, directors, VPs, EVPs, senior VPs, controllers, executive directors, company presidents and officers and C-suite leaders from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies, as well as Federal, state and local governments.

The organization is noted for its unique, thought-provoking leadership development programs and events which offer opportunities for interaction with nationally recognized inspirational speakers.

“WWLI has an overall goal to grow, mature and, ultimately, have a measurable positive impact on women leaders in our community,” said Lee.

“Our theme last year was ‘Inclusion, Diversity and Engagement’,” she noted.  “This year we’ve expanded the theme to ‘Engagement, Commitment, Communication and Transparency’.”

WWLI operates through the efforts of a dedicated team of volunteers who donate their time to committees including: Events, Communications, Sponsorship & Partnerships, Finance & Budgeting, Membership and Women on Boards. 

“We will encourage the members on each of those committees to embrace this year’s theme and apply each element appropriately to their function,” Lee said.
