WWLI ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAM 

Female-Led Non-Profit Organization Creates Networking Opportunities for Executive Level Women in the DC-Area 


Vienna, VA – 
February 5, 2018 – The Washington Women’s Leadership Initiative (WWLI.org), a professional education and networking organization for executive level women, today announced new executive members of its Board for 2018. The new leadership team is comprised of women representing a range of industries and who have established themselves as proven leaders in their professional fields. 

The 2018 executive committee includes: 

  • Christine Dellecave, Chair (MyEyeDr, Chief People Officer), 

  • Sarah HappelVice Chair (Spectrum Leadership Solutions, President), 

  • Kathy Burke, Treasurer (CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, Vice President, Operations), and 

  • Sandy Lee, Secretary (Neustar, Inc., Sr. Director, Privacy Programs, The Chief Privacy Office). 

“Each of the women elected to our Board for 2018 has achieved a great level of success in her field and has demonstrated an impressive ability to connect with and support other career-minded women,” said WWLI.org founder Carolyn Thompson. “We are so excited to welcome in this new leadership team and look forward to much growth and new opportunities for learning in the year ahead.” 

WWLI.org’s current membership is approaching 400 women in the DC-area.

WWLI.org is a 501(c)3 cross-industry, multi-discipline, non-partisan, non-competitive professional education and networking organization for executive level women. The organization hosts exclusive events throughout the year, which offer affiliates unique opportunities to meet and learn from some of the most influential and inspiring women leaders from around the globe. Programs are designed so that each attendee meets a minimum of 15 new people at each event. 
 
WWLI.org’s professional education program content qualifies for Continuing Professional Education credits required in many professions by credentialing organizations such as AICPA, SHRM/HRCI, ASTD, various bar associations and more.
